College of American Pathologists (CAP) Laboratory Accreditation Program
The goal of the CAP Laboratory Accreditation Program is to improve the quality of our laboratory services through voluntary participation, professional peer review, education, and compliance with established performance standards. The CAP program is the largest peer comparison program with over 400 projects for quality assurance including stem cell processing (e.g. CD34+ counts, stem cell viability, stem cell sterility tests). Upon successful completion of the inspection process, our laboratory will be awarded CAP accreditation and becomes part of an exclusive group of more than 6,000 laboratories worldwide that have met the highest standards of excellence.
