Sharon Low
Managing Director
Sharon Low is a co-founder of StemLife and has served as Managing Director since 2001. Prior to founding StemLife, Sharon was a scientific researcher at a private research institute at the National University of Singapore and held a managing position at an south east asian internet company. Sharon brings experience in project planning and execution and business development. Sharon holds an honors degree in Biochemistry from the University of Bristol, UK.
Christina Lim
Deputy Managing Director
Christina Lim is a co-founder and has served as the Executive Director since 2002. Before joining the company, she served as a Director and General Manager at a securities firm. She brings to StemLife over 25 years of financial and management experience and oversees all operations and financial planning for the company.
Prof Dr Aw Tar Choon

Chief Medical Officer
Prof Dr Aw Tar Choon is a co-founder and has served as CMO since 2001. Prior to StemLife, he was group medical advisor to the Health Management International group and was the co-founder of two medical science companies in Thailand and in Singapore. Prof. Aw graduated from the University of Malaya Medical School and trained in internal medicine at the Singapore General Hospital and King’s College Hospital Medical School, UK. He underwent further training at the Hospital of University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, USA. He has specialist certification in internal medicine from NUS and the Royal College of Physicians (UK) and in chemical pathology from the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia. Prof Aw was the Chief, Department of Laboratory Medicine at National University Hospital, Singapore from 1988-2002. The NUH laboratories were the first in the Asia Pacific to be accredited by the College of American Pathologists in 1994. He was the Vice Dean of NUS Medical School from 1994-2002 and served as Chief Executive of the 450-bed Alexandra Hospital from 1995-2000. Prof. Aw has published widely, lectured in numerous congresses and received several distinguished awards.
